A Cage of Fate and Sinew
MMF
November 2026
Standalone dark why choose MMF queernormative fantasy novel set in a wider epic fantasy universe.
I am offering this book for free on Substack until November 1st, when I will release it on Kindle Unlimited. It is a 60k word (which, for me, is a novella) introduction to my universe. The four parts for the explicit edition will be released in the first two weeks of September. The non-explicit spice version will be released by October 1st. My debut book one of the Isle series will release in print, audiobook, and on KU December 28th.
Edition details
Primary trigger warnings: Adultnapping, past childhood sexual abuse, non-explicit suicidal ideation, sexual assault (not romanticized).
Uncut edition: All of the kinky spice with none of the euphemisms. Every filthy detail for a graphic imagination. A couple of the pairings still stay in heavy yearning territory.
Non-explicit spice: Still kinky and spicy, because it's all plot essential, but without explicit language for those that like their spice less graphic, more euphemistic.
I also made a Friends and Family edition that I am happy to send to any reader that emails to request it. My family is very supportive and would accept the uncut edition, but would be more comfortable without the spice so, for my very first book, I made an ebook version that makes the book as vanilla as possible. It is 2000 words shorter than the non-explicit spice edition and leaves the book with only vague references to the spice occurring. This does cause some depth to be sacrificed, but major plot points are maintained.
